What a beautiful festival it was!  My first time traveling to Vienna, Austria. The TangoAmadeus was a great success with beautiful venues filled with lovely dancers all over the world.More about the event, check out their Facebook Page or www.tangoamadeus.com.

To my surprise, I did not find anyone from the SF bay area. It would have been a blast if you were there! Thank you, San Diego tangueros for welcoming me into their circle. Danced a lot each night including local dancers and tangueros from Italy, Romania, France, Switzerland, Germany and USA.

This is my 2nd tango fest attendance in Europe after Istanbul. So far I loved both festivals.

A few notes about TangoAmadeus Festival.

The organizers for this event spent lots of effort coordinating venues, artists, workshops and the staff members. Every attention to details and very warm welcoming receptions throughout the festival. Big applause for Team TangoAmadeus.

The workshops: I enjoyed Sebastian and Roxana’s workshop. I have taken their classes a few years ago, but this time, it was so much more enjoyable. They are both engaged with students and kept the energy going throughout the class. Unfortunately, I could not get to take Dana and Adrian’s workshop. I wish I could. They are wonderful dancers and simply very nice people. So glad to get to know them during the milongas.
